In 2011, Westlake Broadcast Studios was the location for a TV production by long time collaborators Michael Aisner and Jeff Orlowski, which included appearances by Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie and singer Dave Matthews. The live recorded event, shown in 500 national theatres, coincided with the premier of the Goodall film Jane´s Journey, documenting  Jane Goodall´s legendary 50-year observational study of the African chimpanzees.
