INLAND/OUTLAND

Started in 2007 in Iceland, the project revolved around documenting Iceland´s ring-road landscapes. Photographed out the side windows of buses and freight trucks, the work became a hybrid of photography and video. Approximately 40.000 photographs out of 200.000 became the foundation of two stop motion videos as well as single photographs. Later the same approach was used to document various landscapes in Utah (2012-2014). Musical collaborations include composers Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson (GusGus), Devin Maxwell and Matthew Durrant.
